The Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF) 2026 is set to return on October 14–15, 2026, bringing together policymakers, investors and business leaders to examine how economies can adapt to an increasingly complex global landscape.

Organized by Invest in Sharjah in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Investment, the ninth edition of the forum will be held at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre under the theme “Building Adaptive Economies.”

Addressing a New Global Economic Reality

The forum’s theme reflects the rapid transformation of the global economy, where geopolitical developments, artificial intelligence, supply chain shifts and technological innovation continue to reshape investment priorities worldwide.

Throughout the two-day event, international experts will discuss strategies that enable governments and businesses to strengthen economic resilience while identifying new opportunities for sustainable investment and long-term growth.

Supporting the UAE’s Long-Term Investment Strategy

According to the UAE Ministry of Investment, the forum aligns with the country’s broader vision of attracting international capital while expanding economic diversification. The National Investment Strategy targets annual foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows of AED 240 billion by 2031, reinforcing the UAE’s ambition to remain one of the world’s leading investment destinations.

The event will also highlight the importance of collaboration between government institutions and the private sector in creating a competitive investment environment capable of responding to global economic challenges.

Sharjah’s Growing Role as an Investment Hub

Sharjah continues to position itself as a regional platform for international investment dialogue by promoting innovation, economic diversification and cross-border partnerships.

Organizers expect this year’s discussions to focus on emerging technologies, sustainable finance, infrastructure investment and the expanding role of artificial intelligence in shaping future economies.

Building on Record Participation

The previous edition of the forum attracted more than 12,000 participants from 142 countries, bringing together ministers, policymakers and business executives for discussions covering investment, climate finance, technology and geopolitical developments.

With global investment priorities continuing to evolve, SIF 2026 aims to provide another platform for international collaboration, helping governments, investors and businesses navigate the opportunities emerging from a rapidly changing economic environment.
