İTÜ ARI Teknokent participated in GITEX Europe 2026 in Berlin with six technology startups, strengthening its efforts to connect Turkish innovation with global markets while introducing ARI ATLAS, a new platform designed to unite Turkish technology professionals worldwide under a shared innovation network.
Held at Messe Berlin on June 30 and July 1, GITEX Europe brought together startups, investors, technology companies and ecosystem stakeholders from across the continent. During the event, İTÜ ARI Teknokent startups Deepwise, Lidia Commerce, Omnitive, WearTechClub, Winfluencer and ÇATOM had the opportunity to present their technologies to international investors, corporate partners and potential customers.
The participation formed part of the technopark’s broader strategy to support the international expansion of Turkish startups and increase their visibility within global technology ecosystems.
ARI ATLAS makes international debut in Berlin
Alongside its presence at the exhibition, İTÜ ARI Teknokent hosted a special event in Berlin on June 30 to unveil ARI ATLAS to an international audience for the first time.
The initiative aims to bring together Turkish entrepreneurs, engineers, academics, researchers and technology professionals living and working across different countries through a shared digital platform designed to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange.
ARI ATLAS will allow individuals, institutions and projects to discover each other, share expertise and develop new partnerships through a unified digital ecosystem.
Connecting the global Turkish technology ecosystem
In addition to its core platform, ARI ATLAS incorporates several dedicated modules aimed at strengthening international engagement within the Turkish technology community.
These include the “Spark Map,” designed to increase the visibility of Turkish technology professionals living abroad, and the ARI Innovation Hub, which aims to connect technology startups founded by Turkish entrepreneurs overseas with the İTÜ ARI Teknokent ecosystem.
The platform seeks not only to create a communication network but also to generate insights into areas where the Turkish technology ecosystem demonstrates competitive strengths. By leveraging the data generated through the platform, ARI ATLAS aims to help companies identify talent, facilitate international project partnerships and strengthen cross-border collaboration opportunities.
A strategic infrastructure for global collaboration
Speaking during the launch event in Berlin, İTÜ ARI Teknokent General Manager Prof. Dr. Attila Dikbaş said the initiative represents an important contribution to Türkiye’s global innovation ambitions.
“As İTÜ ARI Teknokent, we have spent years connecting startups with investors, industry and universities. Today, we are expanding this approach to a global scale. By bringing together Turkish entrepreneurs, researchers and technology professionals living around the world, we aim to increase knowledge sharing, create new partnerships and connect Türkiye’s innovation capabilities globally.
We see ARI ATLAS not merely as a digital platform but as a strategic infrastructure that will strengthen Türkiye’s global innovation ecosystem.”
Supporting startups on their international growth journey
Through its participation in GITEX Europe, İTÜ ARI Teknokent provided startups with opportunities to engage directly with international investors, corporate organizations and prospective business partners while creating additional pathways for global growth.
The launch of ARI ATLAS is expected to complement these efforts by providing startups with access to broader international networks and collaboration opportunities beyond Türkiye’s borders.
The Berlin gathering represents the first step in the platform’s international expansion strategy, with future plans focused on growing the network through additional events and partnerships in major technology hubs worldwide.
