3 Min Read

Dubai Chambers has established a new Executive Committee for Agentic AI to support the adoption of autonomous artificial intelligence technologies across the emirate’s private sector, reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to become a global leader in next-generation AI.

The committee was formed following the launch of a two-year government initiative announced in May 2026 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

Supporting a Two-Year AI Transformation Plan

The Executive Committee will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive framework designed to accelerate the adoption of agentic artificial intelligence throughout Dubai’s business community. Its responsibilities include coordinating a two-year implementation plan in collaboration with government entities and private sector partners.

The initiative includes the development of specialized training programs, the establishment of incubators for companies developing agentic AI technologies, and the creation of support mechanisms to help businesses integrate autonomous AI solutions into their operations.

Training, Incubation and Business Support

Among the committee’s responsibilities are approving specialized training tracks for business councils and business groups operating under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, while supporting companies focused on developing agentic AI applications.

The committee will also oversee initiatives aimed at establishing support funds for selected companies transitioning toward agentic AI technologies and encourage knowledge sharing across Dubai Chambers’ business network.

Leadership and Industry Collaboration

The committee is chaired by Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers. Its inaugural meeting was attended by Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee.

According to Dubai Chambers, the initiative is intended to strengthen business readiness for emerging technologies while helping companies improve operational efficiency, increase productivity and identify new opportunities for growth through the adoption of intelligent autonomous systems.

Dubai Expands Its AI Strategy

The creation of the Executive Committee reflects Dubai’s broader strategy to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption across both government and industry. By supporting training, innovation and collaboration between public and private sector organizations, the initiative aims to strengthen the emirate’s position as a global hub for advanced digital technologies and future-focused businesses.

Why It Matters

Agentic AI represents one of the fastest-growing areas of artificial intelligence, enabling autonomous software systems to perform complex tasks, make decisions and interact with digital environments with limited human intervention. As businesses increasingly explore these technologies to improve productivity and automate operations, initiatives such as Dubai’s Executive Committee for Agentic AI demonstrate how governments are moving beyond AI adoption toward building comprehensive ecosystems that support innovation, talent development and commercial implementation.
