Digital Dubai and Emirates Group have signed a collaboration agreement designed to accelerate digital transformation initiatives across the aviation group while strengthening integration between Dubai’s government digital infrastructure and the private sector.
The agreement will enable Emirates Group to benefit from Digital Dubai’s digital ecosystem, including access to digital services, enablement platforms, data services, and shared government technologies.
The partnership aims to enhance employee experience, improve operational efficiency, strengthen digital readiness, and support the exchange of expertise and best practices between the two organizations.
Supporting Digital Integration Across Dubai
The agreement was signed by Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Amira Al Awadhi, Senior Vice President Human Resources – Operations and Systems at Emirates Group.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai.
Under the agreement, Emirates Group will gain access to Digital Dubai’s digital services ecosystem, including digital enablement platforms and data and statistics services.
The collaboration also includes provisions covering systems integration, secure data exchange, and the adoption of shared digital platforms across the organization.
Accelerating AI Adoption and Operational Efficiency
Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, said the agreement reflects Dubai’s broader ambition to create a highly integrated digital ecosystem built on collaboration between public and private sector institutions.
“This agreement reflects Dubai’s vision of building an integrated digital ecosystem founded on strategic collaboration between the government and private sectors and driven by the belief that accelerating digital transformation and delivering sustainable impact requires bringing together shared expertise, capabilities, and digital assets,” Al Hemeiri said.
“Through this partnership, Digital Dubai is extending the adoption of its advanced digital platforms, products, and capabilities to support the Emirates Group in enhancing services, improving operational efficiency, and accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies, particularly AI.”
Al Hemeiri added that wider adoption of shared digital platforms would allow these systems to evolve more rapidly and better respond to the needs of organizations operating across different sectors of Dubai’s economy.
Improving Employee Experience Through Technology
Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President Human Resources at Emirates Group, said the initiative focuses on simplifying processes and removing operational friction for employees.

The partnership also supports Dubai’s wider efforts to increase the adoption of shared government platforms, improve interoperability between institutions, and accelerate the development of the emirate’s digital economy.
The initiative reflects Dubai’s growing focus on building integrated digital infrastructure that can be leveraged by both government entities and private sector organizations to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
